I created the Agentic Day to make AI output understandable in human terms, rather than tokens or API calls. Explore the definition, calibration method, derived metrics and worked examples in my open measurement framework.

The benchmark

A measure of raw output before acceptance — not six hours of agent runtime. The benchmark stays fixed across models.

About me

I’m Matt, a technology leader based in Derbyshire. My career has taken me from hands-on development and technical consulting into leading engineering practice across professional services.

Today, I lead Services Engineering at Deltek. My remit brings together AI-assisted delivery, automation and integration platforms, reusable solution accelerators, and the standards that support consistent engineering.

I enjoy the space between strategy and implementation: understanding a difficult problem, bringing the right people together, and making the next step practical.
